A Tribute to Charlie Kirk: A Life Pointing to Jesus
Charlie Kirk’s greatest passion was never politics, debate, or even the many causes he championed. Above all else, Charlie believed life is all about Jesus.
Every conversation, every speech, every quiet moment with friends circled back to the same truth: Christ is our hope, our reason, our future.
Those who knew Charlie—whether up close or through his ministry and public voice—he was a man who wanted others to encounter the transforming love of Christ. He often reminded us that success without surrender to Jesus is empty, and that the gospel is the only message that truly changes hearts.
“Charlie was exercising his Judeo-Christian faith, Admittedly that expression has political implications, but he was killed for his core Christian, Biblical beliefs and their ramifications. He is a Christion martyr.” ~ Dr. Jim Garlow
For Those Who Mourn
Grief is heavy because love is real. If you are hurting today, know that you do not carry this weight alone.
~”The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18
~”Blessed are those who mourne for they will be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
It’s okay to weep. I’ve cried a lot.
It’s okay to ask God the hard questions.
Our Savior meets us right in the ache, offering peace that surpasses all understanding.
Open your Bible.
Pray honestly.
Love your neighbor boldly.
Share the good news of Jesus whenever you can.
Charlie did these things.
Charlie’s heartbeat was the Great Commission, and his prayer would be that every person reading this would experience the grace of Christ personally and carry that light into the world.
Just four days before Charlie was assassinated, he left behind a message that should comfort those mourning his passing. Charlie posted on X: “Jesus defeated death so you can live.”
The post was not for clout or clicks. It was a glimpse into the heart of a man who lived what he professed. According to those who knew him best, Charlie was faithful to God in his daily life. He was everything he claimed to be—a devoted husband, a loving father and one of the most devoted conservatives on the planet.
Charlie devoted his life to spreading faith in Jesus across college campuses and public forums.
We should all remember the words of Matthew 10:28: “Do not fear those who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul.”
“A seed was planted into the ground today. One million vibrant plants will come forth from that seed. Charlie Kirk and all he stood for, will NOT be stopped.” Dr Jim Garlow
Closing Prayer
Lord, thank you for the gift of Charlie’s life and the example he set of steadfast faith. Comfort every heart that mournes today. Draw us near to You, and let the hope of the resurrection steady our souls. In Jesus name, Amen.
