Wish I Had Said That!
There is no growth without change, no change without loss and no loss without grief. ~ Rick Warren
Every now and then, if you’re at all like me, you will a hear a quote and think “I wish I had said that!” In other words you will hear a statement that so clearly captures what you’ve thought or experienced that you just want to shout Yes!
It doesn’t matter what the change is that you need to make or are being forced to make. Regardless of whether you want to change jobs, churches, location, school or relationships, if you are going to make a change be prepared, there will be some loss and grief. Embracing a change instead of fearing it will reduce the impact.
Our attitude toward change will determine whether it will become a stepping stone or a stumbling block. Regardless of what the change is, God wants to use it to grow our character, faith, obedience, love, integrity and loyalty. Because of who God is the changes in my life can always be used for good. So glad we don’t have to fear them. Now that we got that settled, what possible changes in your life are you afraid of?
